Pivots in Pictures

For many data sets a key analysis is the construction of (nested) pivot tables. Indeed I have constructed many of these. There are generally two activities which immediately follow from the construction of a 'Pivot Table':
  1. draw a picture, histogram, illustrating the relative magnitude of the data;
  2. however, once built it can be difficult to tell 'where' the numbers came from;
The PIP tool, takes a local csv file and allows you to add as many depths of filter as you wish, it then builds a zoomable tree diagram of the data, so you can tell where the numbers came from. PIP does NOT share the data with our server, and only saves the D3 tree on your system if YOU request it.
